Dr. Bert Kimura
Dr. Bert is Emeritus Professor at the University of Hawaii, Kapi’olani Community College (KCC), and a Lecturer in Educational Technology at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. He also teaches at Kansai University in Osaka, Japan. Additionally Dr. Bert is a coordinator for the TCC Worldwide Online Conference, held annually in April with approximately 1,000 participants from higher education.
An avid cyclist when he is residing in Hawaii, his interests include photo documenting his daily life, as well as native flora and fauna wherever he may be.

Nan Ketpura-Ching
Nan teaches science at Punahou School and an online Medical Problem Solving course for high school students through the Global Online Academy. She is a recent graduate of the on-line masters program in Educational Technology (OTEC) at UH, Manoa.
As a science teacher and life-long learner, Nan loves finding new ways to integrate technology into her curriculum. She hopes to motivate and inspire a new generation of learners. In her spare time, she loves traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
